Upward Bound Summer Employment

The NCSU Upward Bound Program is looking for qualified professional summer staff to work for the Summer Academy Residential Program. The program provides academic and cultural enrichment for a pre-selected group of high school students. During this preparatory experience, students will take high school academic courses, tour college campuses, and attend cultural sites and/or events. As a coordinator/counselor for this summer experience, it is imperative to work alongside the students and other faculty to ensure this is an overall successful experience.

Upward Bound is looking for Residential Counselors, Instructors and Mentors who can ensure the student’s safety, help them remain focused on their responsibilities, and serve as a supervisor for any on/off campus activities. Counselors and Coordinators will also serve as a role model and will always encourage the student’s personal and professional development.
