TRIO Programs were established to support the nation’s commitment to provide educational opportunity for all Americans to enter college, graduate, and move on to participate more fully in realizing “America’s Economic and Social Dream.” The primary responsibility of this position is to provide individual and small group tutoring to Student Support Services participants as they make progress toward an undergraduate degree. Tutors will assist in developing desirable academic skills, learning and test-taking strategies. Tutors will engage tutees as independent learners.
Requirements:
- Must have earned at least a B+ in the course that you will tutor; must be in good academic standing with the University.
- Preference will be given to those who have completed a tutor training program.
